Youth Swimming & Boating Programs Included in your Family Membership
Included in your Membership, Members have access to swimming lessons for their children every weekday. Hale offers the American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety Program. The objective of the program is to teach people to swim and to be safe in, on, and around the water. The skills taught in the Learn-To-Swim program include water entry and exit, breath control and underwater swimming, buoyancy, changing direction and position, treading, swimming on front, back and side, general and personal water safety, and helping others.
American Red Cross Class Descriptions (Please read the following course descriptions thoroughly when deciding where to place your child.)
The summer is a lot more exciting when you are able to explore beyond the Beach.
Noanet Pond is home to many amazing critters like box turtles, sun fish, blue herrings, and beavers. Hop in a boat and voyage around checking out everything that makes Noanet Pond so special. Our boats are open to our Members from open to a half hour prior to closing.
We also think it’s important to give kids as much independence as possible in a safe environment. We offer boating lessons where children can learn correct strokes, what to do if the boat flips, and other important skills, all while playing games, and having fun.
