A newsletter is handed out at the gate on the Day 1 and 2 of each session. All information about special events will be in the newsletter, and also on the bulletin board. Emails are sent to all members as reminders or notifications of any changes due to weather.

CAMPFIRES

Come spend a relaxing evening at the beach. The swimming and boating areas will remain open until 8:00 p.m. or dark.

Sing-A-Long:

A member of the staff will lead us in a sing-a-long around the campfire.

Nature Games:

Nature Jay will lead us playing games.

Night Hike:

Nature Jay will lead us and we will explore our environment in the dark. Sneakers are required. Flashlights are not needed. Adults may keep flashlights hidden in their pockets! Some members may prefer to relax and enjoy the fire!

SENIOR CITIZEN COOKOUTS

We have designated a special time for Senior Citizens to come together and share a cookout at the beach. We look forward to sharing good food and stories. This activity will be lead by one of our staff members. Invitations will be mailed to all our seniors. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and soda are provided. Please bring your own chairs.

CAMPING OVERNIGHT

The overnights are limited to 30 families. This is for family members only, no guests please. Spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis. This is a very popular event, therefore, we ask that you sign up for only 1 overnight.

Tents may be set up on the beach after 6:00 p.m. on the Saturday evening. The next morning, tents must be down by 9:00 a.m. We will provide an evening program including a campfire, marshmallow roast and sing-a-long. A quiet time from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. must be observed.

Registration: Sign-up sheets will go up on the bulletin board on the Monday before the scheduled campout.
