Employment Opportunities at Hale Reservation
Summer Employment Opportunities
Applications open on January 2, 2013 for summer jobs.
During the summer, Hale Reservation is a vibrant community with over 120 employees delivering programs to children and families from throughout Greater Boston. Although many of our positions require certifications (lifeguard, water safety instructor, archery, ropes course, etc.), Hale conducts training programs prior to summer to ensure staff members are prepared for their responsibilities.
Hale hires summer staff for three distinct program areas - Membership Beach, Hale Day Camp & Agency Camp programs. Although jobs and programs differ greatly, the type of person we are looking for does not - energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated and honest people with a good sense of humor. Please make sure to indicate your area of interest on the application.
Agency Camps
Seven Agencies from the Greater Boston Area conduct summer camps at Hale. Staff with the Agency Camp program work with children between the ages of 5 – 15 teaching a variety of activities. The majority of positions in this area are lifeguards and water safety instructors. Hale does provide pre-season certification for those interested.
