2010 Employment Application PDF

Hale Reservation is a 1,100 acre property in Westwood and Dover, Massachusetts. During the summer, Hale is a vibrant community with over 120 employees delivering programs to children and families from throughout Greater Boston. Although many of our positions require certifications (lifeguard, water safety instructor, archery, ropes course, etc.), Hale conducts training programs prior to the start of the summer to ensure staff is properly prepared for their responsibilities.

Hale hires staff to work in the four areas listed below. Although the jobs and programs may differ greatly, the type of person we are looking for does not. Energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated, honest, people with a good sense of humor make up the Hale Reservation staff. Please make sure to indicate your area of interest on the application.

Agency Camps

Fourteen Agencies from the Greater Boston Area conduct summer camps at Hale. Staff with the Agency Camp program work with children between the ages of 5 – 15 teaching a variety of activities. The majority of our positions in this area are for lifeguards and water safety instructors. Hale does provide pre-season certification for those interested. Employees must be available for eight or nine weeks of the summer and be at least 16 years old. Occasional weekend opportunities exist.
